The We Finance Code

KRK and the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code (WE Finance Code)

We envision a world where women create, build, and scale businesses on equal footing with men, driving employment, innovation, and economic growth. However, women entrepreneurs continue to face significant challenges, particularly in accessing finance. Globally, an estimated 400 million women entrepreneurs face a financing gap of approximately $1.7 trillion.

Addressing this challenge requires coordinated efforts among financial institutions, policymakers, and development partners.

In this context, Kreditimi Rural i Kosovës (KRK) is proud to be a signatory of the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code (WE Finance Code), a global initiative aimed at eliminating barriers and financing gaps for women entrepreneurs by strengthening leadership, improving data, and driving concrete actions.

Through this commitment, KRK reaffirms its dedication to building a more inclusive financial system and supporting the economic empowerment of women in Kosovo.
